Walter is an experienced broadcast journalist, who presents information with warmth and corporate authority.

He was born in Heidenheim in Germany, and studied at Westfalische Wilhelms-Universitat, Munster, Germany, and the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, USA.

Walter trained with the BBC, attending courses in broadcast journalism, interviewing skills, camera skills and single camera directing. He worked with the BBC World Service variously as reporter, editor, producer and presenter of Current Affairs and Features for the German Language Service. He regularly broadcasts on German, Austrian, Swiss Public Service Radio (DLF, HR, WDR, DRS, ORF) and has presented on London International Television (LITV) ("European/Asian Business Profile" for n-tv, Euronews).

He is established as a voice-over artist, translator, script Writer and voice coach for documentaries, corporate videos, commercials (radio/TV), training courses and TV/film projects in UK.

In addition to native German and fluent English, he has a working knowledge of French, the Scandinavian languages and Spanish.
