Angelo Cola

Italian. Actor. Smooth, versatile, experienced.

Angelo is fluent in Italian and English and can speak basic French, Spanish and Dutch. He studied Drama and Art at the Instituo Giuseppe Verdi and Languages at Pisa University. Angelo is a TV presenter for Italian Television and an established voice over artist in Italy as well as in the UK.

His voice has been used in many shows and documentaries, and his latest jobs on TV include Oliver Twist and the documentaries Storm Alert, Rise and fall of the Mafia, Buried Alive, Road to Riches and the Last Supper. He is also the voice of the ice cream train The Great Frostini, in the BBC childrens series Chuggington. On radio, His work on BBC Radio 4 includes Roman Fever, with Anna Massey and Hilary Gish, and A Thousand Days in Venice with Lorelei King. He is also Casanova's voice in the popular BBC series 'Francesco's Venice'. He is currently the voice of ESPN Classic Sport, Discovery Real Time Italy, Fantasy Channel Italy and Hallmark Channel Italy.

Angelo has also taken part in many publicity spots for companies like Guinness, Nissan, Johnny Walker, BT, Nescafé, Giorgio Armani, Nikon Cool Pix campaign, Dolmio and Sacla; in which he also sings the theme tune.

His characterisations appear in many animated computer programmes and in many of the latest Sony Playstation and Xbox games; his commercials include work for Marks & Spencer, Ferrari, Woolworth and Yellow Pages.
