Stephen Kemble
Distinctive, warm, intelligent read - he's also from the North!
Stephen is an actor whose voice-over work has encompassed all forms of the genre from post production on films to book reading via commercials, TV promos, corporate commentaries and programme narration.
With literally hundreds of commercials to his credit his voice has been associated with a wide variety of products from Lyons Cakes to Lenor taking in major brands such as BMW and the Sunday Times along the way.
On-Air TV promotions have featured significantly with work for Sky networks, UK TV, Channel 5, C4 and prominently for BBC networks where, along with other innumerable programmes, Stephen’s was the voice which for eight years promoted the flagship current affairs programme, Panorama.
Stephen has narrated many programmes across major TV networks such as, BBC TV, C4, Channel 5, Discovery Networks Europe - including Wings, Animal Planet, Health and Living, The National Geographic Channel, Biography and The History Channel. Factual strands such as Horizon have trusted him to convey clearly and directly the values of their programmes and to carry a narrative – not to interfere with it.
Recent narrations include Family Fat Surgeons (Discovery Lifestyle), Ancient Discoveries (The History Channel) and The Boston Strangler (Biography Channel).
Stephen is also a qualified voice coach with an MA in Voice Studies, and works with The Royal Shakespeare Company, Bristol Old Vic Theatre School and Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama amongst others.
His native accents are Liverpool and Lancashire.
