Jessica Martenson

Finnish. Actress, upbeat, warm & vibrant.

Originally from Finland, Jessica is a voiceover artist, actress and singer. She trained in New York, Moscow and Drama Studio London.

Her voiceover work includes a radio commercial ‘The Russian au pair’ for Volvo (in a Russian accent); the voice of Isabella in ‘Habbo Hotel’, an animation produced in Finland; and ongoing work for Success on Hold (SOH), recording Finnish voiceovers and announcements for IVR phone systems.
 
Her international theatre credits include Marie in 'Woyzeck' and Estelle in 'No Exit' in NY; Hodel in a Swedish production of 'Fiddler on the Roof' in Finland; and a tour of 'Aladdin' in Italy. Her UK theatre credits include: Helen of Troy in 'War Music' at the Great Eastern Hotel, London; Titania in 'A Midsummer Night's Dream' at the Grange Court Theatre, London; Mary in Pushkin's 'Little Tragedies' at the Lion & Unicorn Theatre, London and Stephen King’s ‘Misery’ and ‘Eve & Lilith’ (which she also co-wrote) at the Edinburgh Festival 2004-2005. She also has a string of short films under her belt, filmed both in New York and London.
 
In addition to her mother tongue Finnish, Jessica speaks fluent English (with various accents), Swedish with a Finnish accent, Spanish and some Italian and French. She also provides translations if required.
