Jamie Robertson
New Zealand. Broadcaster, presenter. Young, friendly, informative.
Born and raised in Auckland, New Zealand, Jamie completed a degree in Film, Television and Media before heading to Sydney, Australia in 1999. It was here that he landed his first presenting roles as a part time DJ on two radio stations - Groove FM and Free FM.
In 2001, Jamie returned to New Zealand to hone his skills further at South Seas Film and Television School where he specialised in Television Presenting. From 2003, Jamie worked as a Promo and Continuity Producer at TVNZ, scripting for, and directing, VO talent.
Soon after, he was hired as a Reporter/ Presenter on 'Flipside', a youth oriented News and Magazine style programme broadcast each week night on TV2. As well as presenting to camera and providing voice overs, Jamie researched, scripted and directed each of his items.
During this time Jamie also voiced corporate videos and compered events.
Since 2005 Jamie has lived and worked in London, in various roles at The Discovery Channel.
