Mari-Luz Rodrigo

Mari-Luz is a Spanish translator and voice-over who studied Spanish Philology at the Universidad Autonoma of Madrid, and has a Diploma in Translation (English into Spanish) from the Institute of Linguists.

Mari-Luz has worked as a producer, scriptwriter and presenter for BBC World Service Spanish section. She has translated and voiced Museum and Exhibition audio guides for:

Great Britain: Buckingham Palace, St.Paul´s Cathedral, The British Museum, Tower Bridge, The London Eye, Kensington Palace, Hampton Court, Tate Modern, El Greco (National Gallery), Imperial War Museum, Winchester Museum, Edinburgh Castle, Stirling Castle, The Palace of Holyrood House, Costume Museum of Bath, Cadbury World, The Beatles Story.

Europe: The Louvre, Aquarium La Rochelle, Egyptian Museum (Berlin), Van Gogh Museum, The Writers Museum of Dublin, Guggenheim Bilbao, Reina Sofia, El Prado, MACBA, La Alhambra.

Educational work includes Spanish language courses for: BBC Radio, BBC Television, Harper Collins, Oxford University Press, Heinemann, Hodder and Stoughton, Linguaphone. Spanish Listening Tests for UCLES (University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate).

She has recorded a large variety of promos for Bloomberg Television, Discovery Channel, MTV, TVE, Tele 5, and in-flight recordings include work for British Airways, Lufthansa, Singapore, Spanair, Elal, KLM, Alitalia etc.
