Paul-William Mawhinney

Australian. Actor, upbeat, versatile, characters to corporate.

Paul-William is an Australian born actor and voice-over artist. Born in Adelaide, South Australia, he moved to Sydney in 2005 to commence his training at Australia’s most prestigious acting school, The National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA).

Since graduating in 2007 he has worked primarily in theatre, but it wasn’t long until television commercial work led him to the world of voice-overs, where he developed an interest in the possibilities of what the voice can do.

Throughout his career in Australia as an actor and voice-over artist, Paul-William also worked as an Drama Tutor and Public Speaking Coach, helping other people to unlock the potential of their voices to tell their stories and engage with audiences on a deeper level.

Paul-William’s work on stage includes the Australian tour of the National Theatre’s “War Horse” as well as a national tour of a one-man show “Loyal Creatures.” His screen credits include appearances on Australian television show favourites such as “McLeod’s Daughters” and “Packed To The Rafters,” and most recently he appeared as Hugo Throssell in “Gallipoli: The Power of Ten”.

Voice-over clients include Macdonald’s, Austral Bricks, Chep Stretch, Homebuyers Benefits. Narration work includes corporate training, children’s audio and character work.
