Lelda grew up in Melbourne, Australia and is a graduate from the prestigious Music Theatre BA course at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. Her career began playing Lisa Houseman in the world premier production of Dirty Dancing which earned her a Green Room Award nomination. She went on to perform in the Cats international tour and to become an ensemble member of the Melbourne Shakespeare Company where she’s played Luciana in the Comedy of Errors, Antonia in Much Ado About Nothing and Viola in Twelfth Night.
Lelda performs improvised comedy in various formats including The Improvised Musical and she was a member of the Improv Conspiracy ensemble on house Harold Teams.
Her voice over career began with re-dubbing international commercials into Australian accents. For a many years she was the voice of The Reject Shop and Zagames family restaurants. She has voiced numerous of radio and television commercials, recorded on hold messages and voiced cartoon characters.
