Olivier Leclair is a Canadian voice-actor based in London. He pursues vocal training at London’s The Showreel. Olivier is co-founder of international theatre company Hippana Theatre. He starred in the 2012 documentary L’Autre Mari for Radio-Canada. In 2018, he played the lead role of Randle P McMurphey in One Flew over the Cuckoo’s Nest at Chickenshed Theatre. Other stage credits include Harpagon, Oedipus and Jack Torrance. Recently he devised and voiced a new play featuring intricate binaural sound design.
Olivier was the lead singer for garage bands such as The Disco Balls, The Patates au Four and guest appearances for DJ Roudlee. He sings blues, folk, country and rap.
In 2018, he became the official French Canadian voice of Babbel’s promotional Alien character. He has also worked for corporate clients such as Cisco. Olivier voices puppet characters and narration for children every week at Chickenshed Theatre.
