George Vafakis
Greek. Actor, fresh, friendly, fun, relatable.
Originally from Athens, George grew up in North London. He studied at University of Exeter, which is where he discovered how much he enjoyed performing. Subsequently he trained as an actor at Drama Studio London and since graduating has featured in many theatre productions, commercials, short films and TV.
He can most recently be seen in the multi BAFTA nominated ITV series The Durrells, where he played the recurring role of Sergeant Zervos, opposite Keeley Hawes & Josh O’Connor.
For voice work he can currently be heard on the Radio 4 documentary The Case Of The Brilliante Virtuoso, the latest documentary by Nick Wallis (The Great Post Office Trial). He has also recently recorded a corporate for Little Journey for their upcoming app, and an audio play for The Dot Collective.
