Qiang is an experienced voiceover artist, interpreter and translator whose mother tongue is Mandarin Chinese.

He graduated from Shan Xi Finance and Economic University in China with a degree in International Trade, but the love of English language and linguistics brought him to Beijing to work as an interpreter and translator.

Qiang worked for the Beijing 1 Enterprise Human Resources Service Co. (FESCO), a state run company which provides personnel to 1 companies and organizations, including 1 embassies.

He came to the UK in 1998, and since then has worked as interpreter and translator to various governmental departments including UKTI, Department for Transport (UK), 1 and Common Wealth Office (UK), Ministry of Justice (UK), Ministry of Civil Aviation PRC, Ministry of Railways of PRC, Ministry of Agriculture of PRC and Ministry of Health of PRC, mainly for inter-departmental negotiations and round table conferences at very senior level.

He has also worked for other organizations such as British Railway Association, London City Airport, Emirates Airlines, British Council, Amnesty International, HM Courts Service, Crown Prosecution Service etc.

His voiceover work includes many documentaries (relating to China) for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Discovery Channel and National Geographic Channel, as well as corporate narration.
